It is with deep sadness and regret that after a long illness Birmingham Crane Hire announce the death of Robert Wedge.

Bob had been with Birmingham Crane Hire for 21 years, and was a well respected work colleague. A totally irreplaceable character who will be sorely missed by all.

The funeral arrangements are as follows:
Tuesday 29 June 2010

1.30pm St Johns Methodist Church, Victoria Avenue, Bloxwich, WS3 3HS
2.30pm Bushbury Crematorium, WV10 7JG
Followed by drinks etc at Short Heath Liberal Club, Bloxwich Road North, Willenhall, WV12 5PG

Bobs wife Gail has asked us to let people know you may send flowers if you so wish to the funeral, however she would much rather you make a donation to Ward 19 at Heartlands Hospital.

Heartlands Hospital provided care for Bob for almost 16 years. Ward 19 has a charity which provides for patient comforts. Most patients on that ward could be in isolation rooms for 4 or 6 weeks at a time and this charity goes some way to helping make their stay as comfortable as possible. If you would like to make a donation please make cheques payable to 'Ward 19 Trust Fund' and don't forget if you are a tax payer you can add your house number and post code to the back of the cheque so that they can apply for Gift Aid. There will be collection plates available on the day for these donations or please hand directly to Gail or a member of the family. You may also send your cheques into Birmingham Crane Hire, where Gail will be collecting them from us after the funeral.
